Welcome to Taskdale. These terms explain how buying from us works. Please read them before you place an order. They’re written to be clear, not to trip you up. If anything here is unclear, ask us first. We’d much rather answer a question before you buy than deal with a problem after.
By browsing taskdale.com, creating an account or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t buy from the site.
The short version
- Every product on Taskdale is a digital download. Nothing is printed, packed or shipped to you.
- Your files are available right after your payment goes through.
- Because digital files can’t be returned, all sales are final and we don’t give refunds.
- If a file has a mistake that came from us, our experts will check it and fix it for you at no cost.
- You can use what you buy for yourself or your own business. You can’t resell it or share it.
Who we are
Taskdale is owned and run by Allquill Solutions International Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13822352), with its registered office at Office 2179, 182-184 High Street North, East Ham, London, E6 2JA, United Kingdom. In these terms, “Taskdale”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Allquill Solutions International Limited trading as Taskdale. We sell digital planners, spreadsheet templates, business plan templates, printables, guides and similar downloadable products. In these terms, “you” means the person using the site or buying from it.
All products are digital. Nothing is shipped.
This is the most important thing to understand about our store. When you buy from Taskdale, you are buying a digital file or a set of files. That could be a PDF, an Excel workbook, a Google Sheets copy link, a Notion template link, a GoodNotes-ready planner, a ZIP folder or something similar. The product page tells you exactly what you get.
- We do not post, courier or ship any physical item. Ever.
- Photos and mockups on product pages show how the file can look once printed or opened on a device. The frame, tablet, paper, binder or desk in those pictures is not included.
- If you want a printed copy, you print it yourself at home or at a print shop. Printing costs are yours.
- No shipping fees are charged, and no delivery address is needed for the product itself. We may still ask for a billing address because our payment providers require it.
How delivery works
Once your payment is confirmed, you get access to your files in three places:
- the order confirmation page you see straight after checkout;
- the order email we send to the address you gave at checkout;
- the Downloads section of your account, if you created one.
Some products are delivered as a link instead of a file. For example, a Google Sheets template usually comes as a link that makes a copy in your own Google account.
Please download your files and keep a backup copy. Download links can carry limits on the number of downloads or on how long they stay active. If that applies, it will show in your order details. If a link stops working or your email never arrives, check your spam folder first. Still nothing? Contact us with your order number and we’ll resend it.
Before you buy
Digital products can’t be “tried on”, so please take a minute to check a few things first:
- Read the full product description. It lists what’s included, page counts, sizes and formats.
- Check the format and the software you need. An Excel template needs Microsoft Excel or a compatible app. A Google Sheets template needs a free Google account. A digital planner may need an app like GoodNotes, Notability, Xodo or a PDF reader that supports hyperlinks.
- Check the version. Some features, like certain formulas, drop-downs or charts, work best in recent versions of Excel or in Google Sheets. Older software or some mobile apps may not show everything.
- Look at the preview images. They show the real pages and layouts.
- Check the paper size if you plan to print, such as US Letter, A4, A5 or Half Letter.
If you aren’t sure a product will work for you, contact us before buying. We’ll give you a straight answer.
No refunds
Because of the digital nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns or exchanges once an order has been paid for.
Here’s why. As soon as a file is delivered, it’s in your hands. It can’t be “sent back” the way a physical item can, and we have no way to take it back from your device. That’s the case whether or not you’ve opened or downloaded it.
So refunds are not given for reasons such as:
- changing your mind after buying;
- buying the wrong product, size or format;
- not reading the product description;
- not having the software or device listed on the product page;
- not knowing how to use Excel, Google Sheets, a PDF editor or a planner app;
- finding the same or a similar product cheaper somewhere else;
- not using the product after buying it.
That said, we don’t leave you stuck. If something is actually wrong with a file we sold you, we’ll fix it. The section below on errors explains how.
Errors in a product: we check it and we fix it
We care about the quality of our files. Still, people make mistakes and so do we. If you think there’s an error in a product, here’s what happens.
How to report it
Email us at info@allquill.co.uk, use our Contact page or reply to your order email. Please include:
- your order number;
- the name of the product;
- a short description of the problem;
- screenshots, if you can. These help a lot;
- the software, app or device you’re using, and its version if you know it.
What we do next
One of our experts will look at your report and test the file. We’ll check whether the problem comes from the product itself or from something else, like the software, device, printer settings or changes made to the file after download.
If the error comes from our product, we’ll correct it and send you the fixed version at no extra cost. Examples include:
- a formula that gives the wrong result or breaks;
- wrong dates in a dated calendar or planner;
- missing pages, tabs or sections that the description says are included;
- broken hyperlinks inside a digital planner;
- a corrupted file that won’t open on supported software;
- spelling or content errors in the product.
If the problem comes from somewhere else, we’ll explain what we found and, where we reasonably can, point you in the right direction. This could be a setting to change or a better app to open the file with. We aren’t responsible for problems caused by unsupported software, device limits, printer settings, or edits made to the file after purchase.
A corrected file, or help to get the product working, is how we put things right. Fixing an error does not turn into a cash refund.
Changes that aren’t errors
Sometimes a customer wants something the product was never meant to do, like a new colour scheme, extra tabs, a different currency, their logo added or a whole new section. That isn’t an error. We may be able to help as a separate paid job. Just ask and we’ll quote you before doing anything.
Prices and payment
- All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) unless the site says otherwise.
- Prices, discounts and sale prices can change at any time. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout when you place your order.
- Payments are handled by third-party payment providers, such as PayPal for card and Google Pay payments. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your bank or card provider may charge currency conversion or foreign transaction fees. Those charges are between you and them.
- Where tax applies, it will be shown at checkout.
- If a product is shown at the wrong price because of a clear mistake, we may cancel the order. If we’ve already taken payment for an order we cancel, we’ll return that payment to you.
Your account
You can check out as a guest or create an account. If you create one, keep your login details private. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Let us know straight away if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or that are used for fraud.
What you can do with your files (licence)
When you buy a product, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it. In plain terms, you’re buying the right to use the file, not the copyright in it.
You may:
- use the product for yourself, your household or your own business;
- print as many copies as you need for that personal or own-business use;
- edit and fill in the file to suit your needs;
- use a business template, like a bookkeeping sheet or SOP kit, to run your own business.
You may not:
- resell, give away, share or lend the file, whether edited or not;
- upload it to any marketplace, website, shared drive or file-sharing service where others can get it;
- sell printed copies of it;
- pass it off as your own design or product;
- break it into parts and sell or share those parts;
- use it in a product you then sell, unless the product page clearly says a commercial licence is included.
If you’d like to use a product in a way not covered here, such as for a team, a class or for clients, contact us and we’ll talk about it.
Templates are tools, not professional advice
Many of our products help with money, business and planning. Budget sheets, debt trackers, financial models, pricing calculators and business plan templates are tools to help you organise your own information. They are not financial, tax, accounting, legal or medical advice.
You’re responsible for the figures you enter and the decisions you make. Please check important numbers yourself and speak to a qualified professional where needed. Planners labelled for things like focus, ADHD or wellness are organising tools only. They are not a treatment or a substitute for professional care.
Ownership of content
All products, designs, text, graphics, images and other content on Taskdale belong to us or our licensors. They’re protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Buying a product gives you the licence described above. It doesn’t transfer ownership. Product names like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Notion and GoodNotes belong to their owners. We are not connected to or endorsed by those companies.
Using the site
Please don’t use Taskdale to:
- break any law;
- try to get into parts of the site, accounts or systems you’re not allowed into;
- copy, scrape or download our content in bulk;
- upload viruses or harmful code;
- post spam, abuse or false reviews;
- use stolen payment details or make fraudulent purchases.
We may block access or cancel orders linked to any of these.
Payment disputes and chargebacks
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first. Most issues are sorted out quickly by email. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without talking to us slows things down for everyone. Where a dispute is opened on an order that was delivered as described, we’ll share the order and download records with the payment provider. Access to files from disputed orders may be suspended while the dispute is open.
Discount codes and promotions
Discount codes and sale prices come with their own conditions, like an end date or a minimum spend. Unless we say otherwise, codes can’t be swapped for cash, can’t be combined, and can’t be applied to orders after they’ve been placed.
Other websites and services
Our site may link to other websites or rely on outside services, like Google Drive for spreadsheet copies or apps for digital planners. We don’t control those services and aren’t responsible for their content, availability or terms.
Our responsibility to you
We work hard to make our products accurate and useful. Beyond what these terms say, products are provided “as is”. We don’t promise that a product will meet every need, work on every device or produce a particular result.
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- we aren’t liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost data, lost business or lost time;
- our total liability for any claim linked to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Your legal rights
Some countries give consumers rights that a business can’t take away. Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under the consumer laws that apply to you. If a law where you live gives you a right that clashes with something in these terms, that right still applies.
Indemnity
If you break these terms or misuse a product, for example by reselling or sharing it, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that result.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. The terms that apply to your order are the ones on the site when you placed it.
Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them or from your purchase, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom. If a dispute comes up, we’ll first try to settle it in good faith by talking to you. If that doesn’t work, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction. If you’re a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts, and if you live elsewhere, you keep any rights your local consumer laws give you to bring a claim where you live.
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
