Compared with a typical welcome book template
Most welcome book templates give you a nice cover and a lot of blank boxes. This one adds pre-written copy on every page, a linked icon bar on every inner page, a separate A4 version, a day-plan timeline, family and pet pages, a book-direct page and a full host bonus pack. You also get PPTX files, so Canva is not your only option.

Software requirements
A free Canva account works for everything. No Canva Pro features are used. If you prefer the PPTX files, open them in a presentation app that reads .pptx and install the included fonts first. We built and tested the PPTX files in LibreOffice Impress.
Customizing your welcome book
Change any text, photo, color or font. Delete the pages you do not need, such as Pet policy or Family fun. Duplicate a page to add more restaurants. Money fields use a neutral [Rate] prompt, so type prices in whatever currency your guests use, with $ as a natural default for US listings.
Real ways hosts use it
- Send the phone PDF with your booking confirmation, then again on the morning of arrival.
- Print the US Letter book, slip the pages into sheet protectors and keep it in a binder on the coffee table.
- Frame the Wi-Fi and Welcome signs by the front door.
- Keep the cleaning checklist and restock list on a clipboard for your cleaner.
- Make one copy per property if you manage several homes.
