Your home does not need a perfect system. It needs one that still works on a bad Tuesday.
Home Reset is a fillable PDF cleaning planner built around that idea. Each day of the week has a small theme, like kitchen on Monday and bathrooms on Tuesday. So you stop asking yourself what to clean and just open the page.
What it does
Open the file in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. Click any line and type. Click a circle to tick a task. Pick a frequency from a dropdown. Save it, or print it and use a pen. Both work. Every task is already filled in for you, but every task can be rewritten, and there is a blank version if you would rather start from nothing.
Who it is for
- Busy parents who clean in ten minute bursts
- Anyone with ADHD, low energy or a messy week who needs a lighter option
- Renters and first homes that need a simple routine
- Households sharing the chores
- Anyone tired of cleaning lists that look nice and never get used
Why you will actually use it
- Fewer decisions. Each day has a theme, so the plan is already made.
- Kind to low energy days. There are 5, 15 and 30 minute lists. Do the 5 and you still win.
- Paper or screen. Print it for the fridge or fill it in on a laptop or tablet.
- Fits your week. Pick Sunday start or Monday start.
- Built for the whole household, with a chore chart, a supplies list and a zone rotation.
What is inside the planner (10 pages)
- Start Here: how the planner works on one page
- At a Glance: weekly schedule plus daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual habits
- Weekly Plan: pick your energy level and plan must do, should do and bonus tasks
- Daily Reset: morning, afternoon and evening routines
- Rooms: room by room checklists with a frequency dropdown on every line
- Deep Clean: a longer list for the big jobs
- Chores: a chore chart so everyone knows their part
- Monthly: a tracker you tick through the year
- Supplies: what you have, what is running low
- Zones: rotate through the house one area at a time
What you get
16 PDF files in one zip. That is four paper sizes (US Letter, A4, Half Letter and A5), each in Sunday start and Monday start, each pre-filled and blank. You also get a user guide in Word and PDF.
How it works
- Download the zip and unzip it.
- Open the PDF that fits your paper size and week.
- Type, tick and pick from the dropdowns.
- Save it to reuse, or print it.
File formats and what you need
Fillable PDF in landscape. The user guide comes as a Word file (.docx) and a PDF. You need a free PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader on a computer, iPad, iPhone or Android phone. Some other PDF apps will show the pages but may not let you type or tick, so Acrobat Reader is the safe choice. No account, no subscription and no extra software.
Customising it
Every task line is a text box, so you can change any of the pre-filled wording. Long text shrinks to fit the line. The blank files have the same layout with empty lines. The colours and layout are fixed, and the pages are not made to be redesigned.
Digital download
This is a digital product. Nothing will be posted to you. After payment you can download the files straight away. Colours can look a little different on screen and on paper, depending on your printer.
Personal use
For you and your household. Please don’t resell, share or redistribute the files.
