Printable Lesson Plan Kit for Preschool, Kindergarten, Daycare and Homeschool
Planning the week should not eat your whole Sunday. This printable lesson plan kit gives you 22 ready-made pages, so you can stop drawing grids and start writing ideas. Print one page or print the lot. Slip them in a binder, pin one on the wall, or hand a sub the whole day on a single sheet.
The kit is built for people who teach little ones: preschool and pre-K teachers, kindergarten teachers, home daycare providers and homeschool parents. Everything matches, everything is easy to read, and nothing is crammed in.
What You Get
- 4 PDF files: US Letter in color, A4 in color, US Letter ink-saver, and A4 ink-saver. Each one has the same 22 pages.
- 1 user guide (Word): printing tips, a page-by-page walkthrough, troubleshooting and FAQs.
- Instant download. Nothing is shipped. You get the files as soon as your order clears.
Every Planner Inside
Weekly lesson plans
Four weekly layouts with 4, 5, 6 or 7 subject rows. Monday to Friday sit in rainbow columns so you can scan the week in a second. Each page has fields for week, theme, class and teacher, plus boxes for materials to prep, reminders and notes.
Daily planning pages
- Weekly theme planner: letter, number, color and shape of the week, books, songs, words to learn, sensory, art, science and movement ideas, goals and a prep checklist.
- Daily lesson plan: learning objective, skills, materials, warm-up, main activity, wrap-up, extra support, extra challenge, how you will check learning and a quick reflection.
- Daily routine: eleven named blocks from arrival to closing circle.
- Time block planner: blank block names, a top three box and a to-do list. Handy for homeschool days.
- Learning centers rotation: six centers, five days and four small group boxes.
Month, year and family planners
- Monthly overview: an undated Sunday to Saturday calendar with side boxes for theme, skills, books and special days.
- Two year planners: one runs August to July and one runs January to December.
- Homeschool family week: room for up to four learners plus a together row.
Track, reflect and share
- Skills tracker: 18 students across 12 early learning skills, marked E, D or M.
- Weekly reflection: what went well, even better if, next steps and a daily feel rating.
- Weekly parent news: a clean page to send home. It has no footer, so it copies nicely.
- Substitute teacher sheet: schedule, helpers, health alerts, routines and emergency contacts.
- Supply and materials list, plus a lined notes page and a dot grid page.
Why Teachers and Parents Pick This Planner
Most weekly lesson plan templates are one empty grid. You still have to work out where the theme goes, where the prep list goes and where to keep your notes. This kit does that thinking for you. The color pages are bright and friendly. The ink-saver pages are plain black and white with no color fills, so a classroom set will not drain your cartridge.
The contents page on the cover links to every planner, and each page has a back to contents link at the bottom. Bookmarks are built in too. In a PDF reader that supports them, you can jump straight to the page you need.
How It Works
- Buy and download the files.
- Open the PDF that matches your paper, US Letter or A4.
- Print at 100 percent. Every page keeps at least 0.3 inch of clear space around the edges.
- Write on the pages with a pen, pencil or dry-erase marker.
File Formats and Requirements
- PDF files, 22 pages each, with fonts embedded.
- US Letter is 8.5 x 11 inches. A4 is 8.27 x 11.69 inches.
- Any PDF reader and any home or office printer will do.
- The user guide is a Word file (.docx).
Customize It Your Way
These are print-first pages. They are not fillable forms, so you write on them by hand. Subject rows on the weekly plans are blank, so you name them. The time block planner has blank block labels. Money columns say Amount instead of a currency sign, so you can write in your own. Choose the August year planner or the January one, whichever matches your calendar.
Real Ways People Use It
- A preschool teacher plans an ocean week with the theme planner, then splits it across the weekly grid.
- A home daycare provider prints the daily routine and tapes it up for parents to see.
- A homeschool mom of three plans every child on the family week page.
- A kindergarten teacher marks letter sounds on the skills tracker before parent conferences.
- A teacher out sick sends in the substitute sheet so the day runs smoothly.
