How Each Hunt Log Page Works
One page covers one sit. At the top, write the date, times, property, stand, weapon, partners and temperature. In the Conditions panel, tick the wind direction (8 points), sky, barometer trend, moon phase and deer phase, and add wind speed and the barometer reading. The Game Seen table has 7 rows for time, species and sex, count, distance, direction of travel and activity. Below that you record whether you took a shot, the harvest record number, notes, a 1 to 5 rating for the sit and the best wind for that stand.

File Formats and Software
The log is a standard PDF with fillable form fields and internal links. To type into it, open it in a PDF app that supports forms, such as the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. To use it on paper, print at 100% or “Actual size” on any home printer. The user guide is a Word .docx file. No subscription or special software is needed.
Customizing Your Log
Species, weapon and stand fields are open, so the log fits whatever you hunt. Money fields are labeled “Amount”, so you can use dollars or any other currency. Print extra Hunt Log pages whenever you need them, or keep a separate copy for each property or each season.
